Stripes on Red

Valentine's Day has passed and due to being under the weather I was unable to present my look book as planned. I'm presenting my Sunday look for today while adding a splash of Valentine's Day red.

I liked this Torrid blouse the moment I saw it. I even knew the size to get before I tried it on. The shoes were also love at first sight. I knew I would wear this look on the Sunday after Valentine's Day, mainly for the splash of red. The blouse and shoes are both well made and comfortable. As for the pencil skirt, it's definitely a go to item in my closet.

Her Dress...My Style

I recently fell madly in love with this Vintage Polka Dot Dress, that I saw on IAMKFS Instagram page. I love vintage items and I am always on the hunt for vintage items online or here at my favorite thrift store. When you're looking for the perfect item it takes a lot of patience. When I saw the polka dot dress I immediately knew how I would wear it.

The dress is in great vintage condition. The material is nice and thick. The dress hits all of my curves just right.

The coat is amazing! When I found it online I immediately thought about the Cookie Monster. Yes, I was excited.  The blue-green color is so vibrant and I love it. I decided to size up, because of the lining.

The shoes were made for my coat, in my mind. They are very comfortable, but I did size because of a previous experience with a pointed toe.

My first plan was to combine posts, but these items were too fabulous to be apart of another post, they needed their OWN.

Date Night: On Sale

I love a sale. Everything that I am wearing I caught on sale. The dress was a real steal and with a coupon code it was under $19.96 and with ASOS free shipping I'm fine with buying only one item here or there. Initially I paired the dress, coat, and shoes, then I had the urge to make a three tiered necklace.

About the dress, it has wonderful stretch and it is from ASOS straight size line. Also, I love to purchase midi length dresses, because then tights are optional.

The accessories were made by yours truly, me. I actually made a silver headpiece but decided to wear the black headpiece to attach my feather extension.

Boom!!!

1 Sweater 2 Ways

I really loved this dropped waist sweater dress the moment I saw it. It actually fit cute and the fact that a lot of women stirred away from it let me know I could wait for the price to drop. This sweater dress was originally $44.99 after a few weeks later I purchased it at $13.48. At that price I didn't mind cutting the chiffon off the bottom, creating a diverse look.

Look 1: Boom & Leopard

I decided to pair the leopard dress, I'm wearing it as a skirt, with the Boom sweater.

Look 2: Spiked Boom

This look features my favorite Jeffrey Campbell's, the lita 2. It was easy to then pair the sweater with a wet look skirt.
