Pastels in Plus - Part 3 (Light Blue & Navy Stripes)

This is the third installment to my 4-part series "Pastels in Plus."

I wanted to mix a soft color with stripes, my new found favorite, which happened to to navy blue. I like the oversized fit of the top and the color is remarkable. The skirt has great stretch.

Pastels in Plus - Part 2 (Mint to Match)

This awesome mint colored set came from Boohoo.com. Not only is the color perfect for Spring, but it is also on trend with matching sets.

Boohoo.com plus size section is fairly new there are two things you should know:

1. The matching separates are true to size.
2. Shipping takes about 2 weeks.

Also, pay attention to the fabric content to ensure your garment fit well.

Date Night: Comfy Chic

It's finally feeling like Spring here!

When it's date night I always opt for high heels and a bodycon dress, but after working out all week I decided to be comfortable.

I have grown fond of my Forever 21 harem pants that are surprisingly still available online. The harem pants have great stretch and the leopard print is vibrant; I decided to pair them with a Vintage blazer I recently thrifted. It's similar to the blazer seen in "The Silver Neckline," but it has a boyfriend fit.

Pastels in Plus - Part 1 (Vintage Pink)

For the month of April I will be displaying four different ways to wear pastels in plus size.

First up is Vintage Pink. I am a lover of vintage and I actually bought this dress last year from Kaleidoscope Femme Studio. The dress look like it a separate top and skirt, which was appealing to me.

Please note that I am wearing a new line of shapewear, Shape by Cacique, offered by Lane Bryant. The shapewear is seamless and offers moderate control, did I mention it's comfortable!
