Denim Days: The Denim Cardigan

Hey curvies!!!

This is the second installment of a new four part series "Denim Days." This series will showcase various ways denim can be incorporated into the everyday woman's wardrobe.

Let me be the first to say, I didn't think I needed an oversized denim cardigan in my life until this ONE! I loveeee this denim cardigan. This cardigan was cute paired with all of my bodycons dresses, but I got these pants last week. These pants are the truth!!! I got them fron the Viola Collection and I feel like these were made for my body. I have been wanting some super cute floral pants for work and these are it. I actually paired a simple tee and my new cognac booties (it's still warm here) to complete the look.

Style Notes: This cardigan is a size 1x, I was unsure about the sizing and focused on the fabric content. If you like the oversize look size up, it you would like it to fit closer to your body choose your true size. These pants are a size 20V. I will have a full review on the Viola Collection in the coming weeks. The shirt is a size large with great stretch. The booties are true to size in a 10W.

Denim Days: The Denim Jacket

Hey curvies!!!

This is the first installment of a new four part series "Denim Days." This series will showcase various ways denim can be incorporated into the everyday woman's wardrobe.

A denim jacket is a must, when thinking wardrobe essentials. Denim jackets quickly turn a dressy outfit into something causal and chic. Now let's talk about this dress! It is super easy to wear, because one side is ruched creating a nice shape. I also, like the cut away hem that balances the side ruching. To add to this causal look I added some chunky shoes and a simple necklace with hits of neon on it.

Style Notes: This dress is juniors plus and I am wearing a 3x. The shoes do run small and I am wearing a size 11. This jacket is true to size in a size 16.

Varsity Pinks

Hi curvies!!!

Can I just express to you all how much I love wearing all black? For some reason when the seasons change I somehow retreat to black, like it's my comfort zone. Yet, I love wearing colors. Which makes this outfit dreamy. Selecting this jacket was a no-brainer. I love me some pink!

I have always wanted a varsity jacket, like since high school! This pink varsity jacket is a girls dream come true. I knew I wanted to dress it up, I went with black. I literally had to decide which bodycon I would wear and I chose this one. I added my comfy lace-up booties to complete this look along with my silver statement necklace.

Style Notes: This jacket is true to size in a 2x. The dress is also true to size in 2x. My booties are true to size in a 10.

Falling For Fashion featuring Eleven60

Hey curvies!!!!

I am super excited to introduce Eleven60 to you all. Here's some background information on the brand "in June 2015, Kierra Sheard spearheaded a soft launch of our Fall/Winter Collection of Eleven60. The designer has personally designed classic and refreshing looks for the professional curvy woman that is chic, sexy, bold, and ecletic."

This brand is so refreshing to me, because they have consistently offered new fashion forward designs for the curvy woman. I love when a brand provides beautiful clothing for day and night.

For the First Look  I wanted to style the dress for a company party, because the holiday season is right around the corner. This dress has plenty of red so I added orange heels to simply add more color.

Style Notes: This dress is a size 2x, true to size, and zips on the side. If you have larger arms you may want to size up to get more arm room. These heels are a size 10 and are true to size.

The Second Look came easy to me. The top was so beautiful I did not want to mess it up with over styling. So I added an olive skirt, actually a dress worn as a skirt, and simple tan heels.

Style Notes: This shirt is true to size in a size 2x. This shirt has stretch in the arms and makes for a comfortable fit. The skirt is a size 14 and the heels are a 10.

Send Me Neutrals: Grey Skies

Hey curvies!!!!

This is the fourth installment of a four part series "Send Me Neutrals." The whole purpose of this series is to incorporate Fall fashions and color schemes into this Memphis heat.

I hope you all enjoyed my previous posts! I mixed prints a few times this month so it is only right that I color block.  Also, this dress is everything! It's so hot in Memphis I am happy to not add tights to my dresses and boots.

This dress really is everything!!! The buttons are a great touch and I actually unbuttoned a couple buttons to show a little skin. These velvet booties are bomb! The blue is a nice touch with the white denim jacket to top this outfit off!

Style Notes: This dress is super stretchy and I am wearing a size 2x, I could have sized down to a 1x. The jacket is true to size also in a XXL. I tend to size up in narrow booties and these are a size 11. These boots run small so please size up.

Send Me Neutrals: Not So Basic Black

This is the third installment of a four part series "Send Me Neutrals." The whole purpose of this series is to incorporate Fall fashions and color schemes into this Memphis heat.

I almost forgot to add black to my neutral line up. Black goes with everything so it was only right I add a 'not so' basic dress. This dress is a modest length with a sexy lace-up detail right up the middle. I can see myself adding a black cami under it to wear this dress to work. Yep, I love it!

This outfit was super easy to create. The dress is long sleeves, so need to carry a jacket on your night out. The sleeves are super stretchy so the fit is comfortable for every one's arms. I added my new grey booties and my Aztec mini bucket bag.

Style Notes: This dress is true to size in a 2x. I tend to size up in booties and luckily I did these are very narrow and in a size 11. Also, the choker is DIY using extra fabric from the laces in the dress.

Getting The Boot

Hey curvies!!!

The temperature is finally dropping in Memphis (high 70's in the morning) and I am ready to pull out my boots. Yeah, it's really not time yet but I can definitely show you all some boots that are on my shopping list. Guess what?! They are wide width and wide calf approved.

In the Fall I find pleasure in getting up on a Saturday, throwing some leggings on with a long line cardigan and comfy boots.

These (here) are no different. The fact that they come in the Fall "IT" color Olive is a plus!

Last year I was able to find some tan heeled lace-up booties to fit my wide feet and I am happy to have found some grey ones earlier in the season. These (here) are the perfect boots to take me from work to play!

I love good wedge heeled booties and these (here) are soooo goood! These shoes are date night approved in my book!

The last boot on my list is a classic boot that every woman needs. This riding boot (here) has a edgy twist. I love that it comes in both black and brown. Yay!!!
