Bee & Pep Take On Fall Trends: Lace

Hey curvies!!!!

I am super excited to be collaborating with my virtual big sis Pepper of Pretty Plus Pep. We have collaborated a few times and each time we have tackled new trends. This time is no different, we are bringing you all five Fall/Winter Trends. Yes, FIVE!!! Third up is Lace.

I have always been a lover of lace. I always felt like was synonymous with sexy. I bought a lace dress that didn't come past my hips and at the same time Pep released a post and a skirt in my closet was on list. Let's just say that post saved me time and money. When I bought this skirt it was noted to be Tulle but after looking at the underskirt peep through the polka dots I got a lace feel.

Style Notes: This skirt has no stretch and I sized up to an 18. This skirt is a little short in the back so be mindful. The turtleneck has a lot of stretch and I am wearing an XL. The booties are super narrow and I sized up to an 11.

Skirting Around Town

Hey curvies!!!

I am a super girly girl! I love wearing skirts because they're super chic! Not to mention skirts are super easy to dress up or down!

Let's get into this skirt!!! I remember seeing Society+ on Instagram and falling for them. I would marvel over how cute their skirts were and how important body diversity was to them when it came to their models. They were having a really good sale and I had to give them a try! This midi skirt is everything! I am a lover of polka dots and I immediately thought to pair this skirt with my new lace up heels, they're low and work place friendly. I completed this look with my new red cardigan and gold tassel necklace. .

Style Notes: The polka dot skirt is a 14/16, this skirt is true to size. The cardigan is super light weight and true to size in a 2x. I have one wide foot, so I sized up to an 11 in the shoes and they're perfect.

Bee & Pep Take On Fall Trends: Off The Shoulders

Hey curvies!!!

I am super excited to be collaborating with my virtual big sis Pepper of Pretty Plus Pep. We have collaborated a few times and each time we have tackled new trends. This time is no different, we are bringing you all five Fall/Winter Trends. Yes, FIVE!!! Second up is Off The Shoulders.

I have never really been a shoulder shower and this trend challeged me to wear something different. I must admit I was hesitant about going "full shoulder" so I opted for a cold shoulder instead. Now, I am a bodycon wearer so this dress was super cute! Cold shoulders and a fitted dress, love!!! This outfit was super easy because I made the dress the focal point. I added a maxi vest and basic black booties.

Style Notes: This dress is true to size in a 2x, this dress is a ribbed material and not too clingy. The maxi vest is sized up in a 3x and I love the fit. The booties are a bit narrow and I sized up to an 11, that was a super smart move!

Denim Days: The Skinny Jean

Hey curvies!!!

This is the third installment of a four part series "Denim Days." This series will showcase various ways denim can be incorporated into the everyday woman's wardrobe.

This series really challenged to wear denim jeans, because I am a lover dresses and skirts. I love the thought of wearing a plain white tee and jeans. This outfit is really a dream come true and this jeans are magical! The jeans are super soft and stands true to their "legging" description. I couldn't wait to wear my new trench coat and sling back booties to complete my this look.

Style Notes: These jeggings are true to size in a size 22 and super comfy. This trench is true to size, but I sized up to a 3XL because I was unsure about sizing. The booties are true to size in a 10.

Bee & Pep Take On Fall Trends: Fall Florals

Hey curvies!!!

I am super excited to be collaborating with my virtual big sis Pepper of Pretty Plus Pep. We have collaborated a few times and each time we have tackled new trends. This time is no different, we are bringing you all five Fall/Winter Trends. Yes, FIVE!!!

First up is Fall Florals. I am a lover of all things florals and Fall Florals have the ability to be muted or bright with hints that accent any Fall color schemes. With this look I had to rock my new bodycon and burgundy boots. This bodycon is soft to the touch and my boots are super comfy. I added my black bomber to this look to look "cool." Lets hope that worked!

Style Notes: This dress is true to size in a 2x with great stretch. The bomber jacket is a 3x, because I sized up. The boots are true to size, wide width and wide calf approved.

The Viola Collection Is Kinda For Me!

Hey curvies!!!

If you have been under a rock then let me tell you about Eloquii's Viola Collection. The Viola Collection is a capsule collection for women with hips one to two sizes larger than their bust, perfect for pear shapes.

The Viola Collection is another step forward for plus size fashion. Being plus size is one thing but being a completely different body shape from the "norm" have me often times struggling between rather to size up because of my hips or size down because of my bust/waist with hopes that the item will come past my hips which is always a major struggle.

Being pear shaped has forced me to know fabric contents like the back of my hand, look for a size chart immediately before purchasing online things, or hoping sets allow me to pick different sizes for the tops and bottoms. With my hips being over 50 inches and my natural waist measuring at 35-36 inches you can see how important the Viola Collection was to a pear shaped woman like myself.

The pants as seen here are amazing!!! I am wearing a size 20V and the fit in the waist had me in awe. There have only been rare occasions where I have been able to buy and wear a pair of pants with ease. I am 5'6" and I cuffed the pants to create an ankle pant.

The dress below fell short. Often times I size down in dresses with a lot stretch and if I am unsure about sizing I size up. I literally ordered my dress in the same size as my pants a 20V, because the measurements did not change. This dress fits like a bodycon and I am not pleased. This dress was supposed fit easily on the hips and as you can see it hugs my hips like no tomorrow. I also had an issue with the waist, it was supposed be smooth in the waist area but as you can see it is large in the waist causing it to bunch a bit. Again, I loved the pants, but the dress fit kinda disappointed me, because I had high hopes after receiving the pants.

Also, I feel like the waist measurement is not the natural waist and more like the belly measurement. The jacket is a size 2, I sized up. The shoes are a size 10.

Print & Fringe

Hey curvies!!!

I am a lover of all things print and this dress is just that. I thought that the boning in the front made this dress super sexy. The material is similar to scuba but it stretches easily. I added my waterfall cardigan to pull this outfit together and the fringe booties are a nice touch.

Style Notes: The sizing is juniors plus and I am wearing a 3x. The cardigan is a 2x, true to size. The booties are a size 10 and are true to size.
