Hey curvies!!!!

I am a lover of all things African Wax Print and I am super excited to introduce Chinero Nnamani to you all. Chinero Nnamani is a "fashion brand grown from world travel, colorful garments, delighted eyes, vivacious appetites, and the influence and love of African cultures. It is the embodiment of multicultural experiences that exemplify beauty and the power of self-expression. Born in the fashion capital of the United States, New York City, and raised in both Florida and her motherland Nigeria, designer Chinero Nnamani bears the grace and strength of the Nigerian people. Her aesthetic absorbs blends of technology and art, culture and conscientiousness, beauty and ornamentation, global acuity and African-pride. Chinero Nnamani’s fashion brand is one that focuses on the beauty of celebrations. A celebration of African influences and African prints that inspire everlasting conversations long after the fabric has left the skin. To wear Chinero Nnamani is to walk in the richness of Africa. To Live In Color."

Chinero Nnamani offers signature reversible tops and skirts, coats, dresses, and beautiful skirts ranging from mini to maxi.
Working with Chinero Nnamani has been a breeze. Chinero Nnamani asked for my measurements and my fabric of choice and in a short period my garments were made. I was also able to give them my preferred waist to length measurement to achieve the perfect maxi skirt. Chinero Nnamani also allows customers to "include photographs, custom letterings or drawings you would like to be used to help design your custom fabric" to ensure that an item is everything a customer wants.

Look 1 was completed by wearing a top backwards (the party was in the back), adding my new low heel sandals, and add my cute red purse.

Plus Size Concert Attire with Melissa McCarthy

Hey curvies!!!

I remember being unsure about what to wear to a concert. I remember wearing my best shapewear and high heels then becoming uncomfortable before the main act hit the stage. I also remember looking too comfortable and hating all of my pictures because the outfits were regular smegular. LOL!

Recently I've been rocking super cute, figure flattering maxi dresses to concerts and I love it. I get to wear my comfy heels or comfy flat sandals, WINNER!!! I get to strut in the concert and strut out feeling amazing!!! My maxi dress is cute, comfy, chic, and did not require my heavy duty shapewear so I opted for my seamless shapewear. I get to dance and feel confident in my outfit. Oh and this dress was only $79!!!

Style Notes: My maxi dress is in a 1x, I sized down because the Melissa McCarthy collection is very generous in sizing. My comfy shapewear is true to size in a 18/20. My sandals are true to size also in a 10 and wide feet friendly.

How to Fashionably Spring Forward: Marble Stripes

Hey curvies!!!

Spring has arrived and I could not be more excited. Spring is literally my favorite season and the fashion is amazing. Which means it's time for a new series "Fashionably Springing Forward." I will be taking on Spring trends that I love. So buckle up and sit tight.

I have an ongoing Spring series on the blog where I have been able to wear bold prints as seen here and super cute stripes and leopard print sandals as seen here. I think you all are going to love my posts this time around.

I love bodycon dresses and this marble stripe bodycon is perfect. I did not have to work hard to complete this outfit. Yay me!!! I added my favorite camo jacket and my new blue lace-up sandals.

Style Notes: The straps on this dress are super thin but stretchy. I am wearing a size 16 and it fits perfectly. My jacket is in a size 16 as well. My shoes are wide foot friendly in a size 10.

How to Fashionably Spring Forward: Mesh

Hey curvies!!!

Spring has arrived and I could not be more excited. Spring is literally my favorite season and the fashion is amazing. Which means it's time for a new series "Fashionably Springing Forward." I will be taking on Spring trends that I love. So buckle up and sit tight.

I have an ongoing Spring series on the blog where I have been able to wear bold prints as seen here and super cute stripes and leopard print sandals as seen here. I think you all are going to love my posts this time around.

I am in love with mesh pieces this Spring. I know mesh is not new, but this time around it has become a key layering component that can make or break your entire outfit. Are you willing to give mesh a try this season?

I remember wearing a mesh maxi dress with a bodycon underneath and you all went crazy! This time around I wanted to take a different approach. I wanted to create my own layered look and because I have become obsessed with sneakers lately I wanted this look to feel casual. I paired my lavender bodycon with my blush mesh dress because it felt right. I used my denim jacket to complete the look because denim makes things work. This look is perfect for a night out on Beale Street with the girls and also will make your man think you have a lot of style.

Style Notes: My mesh dress is in a size large, it is seriously oversized. My bodycon is true to size in a size 2x. My sneakers are also true to size in a size 10. My denim jacket is super fitted in a size a 2x, I should have sized up to a 3x.
