Wide Pants, Wider Hips

Hello everyone!

This is the third installment of the February series "Shades of Red."

I was so excited to get my hands on a cream jacket. I like that it is light weight and will easily transitional to spring. I kept seeing posts about Marsala being the color of the year, so why not jump on board?

My plan was to wear a midi skirt no brainer, but I remembered buying these awesome wide-legged pants back in October. Wide-legged pants are something new for me, but I am becoming more and more comfortable adding trying new things. The pink top created an ombre affect and I loved it.

Completing the look was easy. I added my cream kitten heels and a statement necklace.

Style Note:  The pants are awesome but are really high waist. The shirt was oversized,  but I tucked it in.

Faux Fur & Plaid

Hi everyone!

This is the third installment of the February series "Shades of Red."

My boyfriend and I celebrated with a "staycation" in Downtown Memphis. This outfit was planned for Valentine's Day, but I ended up wearing it the day after. We planned to walk to dinner so I wanted to be comfortable.

My boyfriend actually picked out my dress during a shopping trip to Torrid, I didn't buy it right then and there. I ordered it offline to surprise him. I wanted to add comfy layers so I wore my plaid top and faux fur vest.

White Leaves

Hello everyone!

This is the first installment of the February series "Shades of Red."

I ordered this jumpsuit for only $8! I know a steal right? I'm still on a jumpsuit trip so I still love wearing them and to this date they are the easiest things I own. I like this jumpsuit because the leaves really pop on the red.

This jumpsuit is a little busy, so added my black maxi cardi to tone it down. I added a white belt and clutch. I simply added my comfy wedge booties and a black statement necklace. Easy!

Style Note: This jumpsuit is very thin, the good thing is it only cost me $8.
