The Hostess Slay with GS Love

Hey curvies!!!

I know you all are just about ready for New Year's Eve, but here is one look that would spark your interest. I remember going to parties and see the hostess partially dress and running around frantically. So this look is for the hostess with the mostess.

I knew I wanted to wear a floor length gown with a lot of sparkle. Instead of pretending I would wear this dress with heels I decided to keep it real and pair some lace-up flats with this dress. I also added a denim jacket for a more casual look. Everything turned out great!

Style Notes: This dress is a 3x and is super stretchy. The jacket is a size 16 and is true to size. The flats are a size 10 and are wide feet friendly.

Bee & Pep Take On Fall Trends: Velvet

Hey curvies!!!

I am super excited to be collaborating with my virtual big sis Pepper of Pretty Plus Pep. We have collaborated a few times and each time we have tackled new trends. This time is no different, we are bringing you all five Fall/Winter Trends. Yes, FIVE!!! Last up is Velvet.

Velvet is one of those trends I was nervous about trying. I actually bought a velvet bodycon but it was super sexy. On the other hand, I did not want to look super "granny." Luckily, this dress is awesome!!! I love that it featured a faux wrap detail, the deep neckline is everything but granny and not over sexy. I wanted to keep this look super simple so added my over the knee boots and my DIY choker.

Style Notes: I did size up in this to a 3x and the sleeves are still a bit tight. My boots are wide calf and wide feet friendly.

Date Night: Sheer Perfection

Hey curvies!!!

I love trying new brands and Daya by Zendaya was an awesome choice. I really like bodycons and this sheer bodycon seemed like the obvious choice. It is fabulous!!! The material is stretchy and breathable. The length is perfect as well becuase it actually stopped passed my calf but I ruched it a little.

This dress was super easy to style. I actually added a forest green bodycon under this dress to make the tan pop. My tan booties were perfect to complete this outfit.

Style Notes: This dress is a size XXL. I a usually a 2x so this dress is true to size. The bodycon underneath is a size 2x. My booties are a size 11, I sized up because they are narrow.

Bee & Pep Take On Fall Trends: Plaid

Hey curvies!!!

I am super excited to be collaborating with my virtual big sis Pepper of Pretty Plus Pep. We have collaborated a few times and each time we have tackled new trends. This time is no different, we are bringing you all five Fall/Winter Trends. Yes, FIVE!!! Fourth up is Plaid.

Pep and I are no strangers to plaid. We did a full collaboration on plaid last year. So this year we had to add plaid in our Fall Trends series. I have had this shirt for over a year and had to pull it out to wear with my new skirt. My studded purse was perfect for this black and gold outfit.

Style Notes: My shirt is an XXL, the fit is great and my buttons lay flat even tucked in. My skirt is a size 18/20, please be mindful that the underskirt is kinda short. My booties are a size 11, I sized up because they are narrow.

Fall Color Blocking with Faith

Hey curvies!!!

I am so happy to be team up with Faith of Faithfully Yours Blog. You guys I love Faith's style. Her ability to dress up and dress down is amazing. She isn't too far from me here in Memphis so I can't wait for another collab.

I am super excited to be color blocking using Fall colors and I am super excited this ENTIRE outfit was under $50. I can honestly say I buy most of my clothes on sale and if it's trendy I try not to break the bank.

This is an outfit everyone needs. I feel like this outfit is date night approved, with TIGHTS it's church approved and work house approved. The poncho covers the assets and the belt highlights my waist as well as creating a "cape" silhouette.

Again, this outfit is under $50!!! The camel colored poncho (here) was only $12.90. My midi length rust skirt was only $11.90 this one is similar (here) at only $16. I completed this look with a white cami for only $3.90 here, a statement from my closet, and some super cute booties that were on sale here for only $19.35!!!! This outfit was only $48.05!!!

Style Notes: This skirt is true to size at a 3x, juniors plus. The cami is a 1x with great stretch. The poncho is one size fit all. The booties are a size 11, I sized up because they are narrow.
