Rustic Vibes and Butterflies

Hello everyone!!!

This is the fourth installment of the October series "Fall Hues."

I really enjoy mixing prints. At first it was unknown to me, but I quickly realized it's extremely easy to mix ANY print with stripes.

This outfit was a great example of shopping by "fabric content." The shirt is a size large and the skirt is a size 12. I built the entire outfit around the gorgeous butterfly printed scarf. I found the skirt tucked away in the store and had to try it on! It fit! I rushed to the cash register to buy it! I had this shirt in my closet for some time now and decided to bring it out because of the sleeves.

Lace, Leopard, and Litas featuring Vanity Room x Target

Hello everyone!!!

This is the third installment of the October series "Fall Hues."

I am excited to announce that Vanity Room, which has "over 15 years experience designing, manufacturing, and delivering clothing for every woman’s needs," collaborated with Target.com to release a contemporary plus size collection.

I chose to style the oxblood/marsala  lace dress. This dress has weight to it so I had to wait until the weather was right. Luckily, Fall has officially arrived! I wanted to add a Fall flare to this look by adding tights, my favorite Jeffrey Campbell litas, and my favorite leopard bag.

Style Note: This dress is true to size. I requested a 3x, because I was concerned about the fit. A 2x would have been perfect.

Olive It

Hello everyone!!!

This is the second installment of the October series "Fall Hues."

Olive is the neutral Fall color that everyone looks great in and faux suede is the texture of the season. I was excited to find the two hottest trends in one dress. I knew I would wear it as a midi skirt, turns out its the perfect length great and the extra material created ruching!

I couldn't resist wearing a crisp white button down and my black fringe booties. I completed the look with a simple gold statement necklace and my fringe bucket bag.

Style Note: I sized up in the booties for a comfortable fit. Also, I am wearing a 3x in the dress/skirt, because Gstagelove clothing is juniors plus.

Stormy Weather In Tulle

Hi everyone!!!

This is the first installment of the October series "Fall Hues." This series will include some colors from the Pantone Fall Color Report.

I have been holding on to this dress since my 2014 trip to Houston. I was conflicted about when it was the "right" time to wear it. One minute tulle is in the next minute its out. So I decided no matter when I wear it I will make it my own. Well, I am wearing it and I absolutely love the way I styled it!

I decided to make it a casual outfit by adding my three year old faux leather jacket and my new boots.

Style Note: This dress is a great example when shopping by fabric and not size is a success! This dress is a size large and fits my plus size figure perfectly.
